Discovering a good hotel when you’re on a trip to in downtown Toronto isn’t often simple, simply because there is so many options! Sure, you can opt for something out of the same downtown Toronto handbook which everybody and their sister has used for the last few years, but that does not mean you are going to have a very high-quality experience (in actual fact, it would just about promise a negative one!). As an alternative, it’s actually a smart idea to do a bit of exploration, using your good friend the Internet. Locals will forever be aware of the prime hotels in their own city, just what the best accommodations are, and the good months to hit up their favorite parts of the city. However, you shouldn’t go up to everyone you run into in the airport terminal in downtown Toronto, looking for their help. So alternatively, we’ve gathered a short list of our 3 preferred hotels in downtown Toronto for you. They are the ones we would suggest to our family when they return to visit – but since we do not want you to believe we’re merely being biased, listed here are the comparisons from Yelp.com:

By far my favorite hotel in TO. Firstly its close to just about anything you need to enjoy toronto. The service is great. The rooms are amazing, not to mention the kitchen, just in case you wanted to cook.
I’m always looking for a deal at this hotel to go on a little stay-cation ![]()

2.Holiday Inn Express Hotel Toronto-Downtown

Stayed here for a few days during a conference, and found it to be quite nice – and a good value.
The computer dedicated to internet for customers (pay as you go) in the lobby was dreadfully slow and ultimately un-usable.
Other than that, all amenities were up to snuff, and it is close enough to downtown and the convention center for someone who likes a healthy walk.

Such a beautiful room.
The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Location of the hotel is very central with the subways and shops downstairs.
